I did emboss resist on this card using the embrace life SU Stamp set. Card stock is Lovely Lilac and whisper white. Ink is lovely lilac.

Hello Kitty & Valentine's Box

I made this cute little card and box for my 18 year old daughter. Of course the box is full of Godiva jewel candy.

I used Stampin Up card stock for the card and box in whisper white and pretty in pink. for the butterflies I used SU designer paper. The sentiment on the kitty is from Stampin up, the set is called A happy heart. The sentiment on the box is also from the same set.

I cut both of these using my cricut using the Hello Kitty and Tags,Bags,Boxes & more.

Stampin UP Pop Up Valentine Tree

I finally used my sizzix pop up tree by Stampin UP. I decided to make a valentine tree I think it looks so cute. Everything is Stampin Up except the tiny punched hearts in the center they are from a dollar punch.

Shaker Card

Well this is the first shaker card for me. I’m trying to do some things that I’ve always wanted to. I didn’t put a sentiment on it because I’m not sure if this is going to be for Valentine’s Day or for something else. Card stock and designer paper is SU. Whisper White.Pretty In Pink,Spring Fling Retired. Ribbon is SU. Scallop edge is SU punch. The Shaker heart and Key and little hearts are MS punches.

Valentines Day Card

This is the Card I made for my hubby.
Cardstock SU Basic Black,whisper white,real red. Tiny hearts dollar punch. Doves and the love are MS punches. I used SU glitter romantic red on the tiny heart between the doves. Nestabilities for the scallop heart and a non su heart punch. On the corners I used a MS punch.

Ice Sculptures

Last night the family went to see the Ice Sculptures. Wow really amazing what they can do with ice and snow. I thought I would share some pictures.

Valentine Candy Box

Isn't this so cute? Martha Stewart has this little candy box on her site along with the template to make it. I used SU cardstock Pixie Pink,SU retired stamp set called Nice Mice for the ink I used Stampin Up's new frost white it gives it a shimmer not sure if you can tell in the pick. The ribbon is non SU.

Sunset

I have always wanted to make a card using the brayer. I thought with Valentines coming I would do a heart sunset. I must say using the brayer is a lot harder than it looks. After about five different tries, I decided this was it. I do like it just would have liked it to be better. I love the cards that Michelle Zindorf makes they are incredible. She makes it look simple. Let me tell you not so simple I think it’s something that takes some practice. Hope you like it. Happy Birthday!

Here is a cupcake B-day card I made for my hubby. The paper Whisper White, Cocolate Chip by Stampin Up. I used the scallop, 1 3/8" and the 3/4" are Stampin up also. The sentiment is from Stampin up. The glitter is MS and the ribbon is some I've had for a while from Target. I aslo crimped the bottom of the cupcake but it's hard to see since it is dark paper.

Christmas Card

I made this card to mail to family and friends. Since I can't work with my hand to well yet I needed something simple. I got this idea from Julie at Paper Pleasing Ideas. I love her work she is a very talented lady. All of the paper and ink is Stampin Up. Even the back ground snow flakes are made with the new Stampin Up shimmer paints.

Absent Blogger

Sorry I haven’t had any recent post. At the beginning I was just not posting and being lazy lol. Then in October, I fell and fractured my wrist of course it was my dominant hand so I haven’t been able to do anything. Anyway I will try to be a better blogger. Here is a card I made for my son on his birthday. I got this idea from a lady on scrappingbydesign.com. I thought it was very cool and a great idea for anyone.
