Halloween & China Cabinet

Hello Everyone,
I finally got my china cabinet done I'm so proud of it I think it turned out really good ,I used all of the original hardware which was copper hinges and brass handles. I also made a Halloween arrangement which I have never done before first one,I like how it turned out also. Feel free to leave comments to let me know what you think :).

Busy as a bee.

Hello everyone, sorry about the lack of communication on my blog. I've had a lot going on,trying to harvest all the veggies from my garden and getting some projects done around the house that need to be done before it gets cold. I'm almost done with the china cabinet that I was telling you about that I wanted to paint white. I must say it's looking pretty good. I've also made some changes in my craft room it's coming together nicely, as soon as I'm done I will take some pictures and show you what it looks like. Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday

Hello everyone, today is my b-day I turned 47 oh boy. I had a real nice day. My hubby got me an opal necklace and a tanzanite necklace and some godiva yum. I know its a bit much but he wanted to get the tanzanite for me for our anniversary but I didn't want him to spend the money. So we are calling it anniversary/birthday. The opal was totally unexpected he saw it and the price was right so he had to get it. Yes he does spoil me.My daughter got me some flowers and made me cupcakes those are my favorite. Here's a picture of my necklace's.

Anniversary

Aug 3, my hubby and I celebrated our 20th anniversary. We had a great day. Since both of us love antiques we decided to go to some antique shops. Didn't find anything we wanted so we went to dinner came home and relaxed to go out again the next day. My hubby found an old drafting table with a cast iron bottom he was in love the minute he seen it. I found an old china cabinet that I was thinking I could paint white,or maybe do the shabby chic look and put in my craft room not sure what I will do yet. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.
Here is a picture of my hubby and I and my beautiful flowers he got me and our finds. Almost forgot my hubby got me the queen bee charm from pandora for my bracelet its so cute.

I saw this card on you tube it is called a flip flop card. I thought it was pretty cool decided to give it a try. My youngest sons birthday is in a few days so it works out good. He will be 26.
Everything is Stampin Up. The dsp is retired but the cardstock is currant. I used crumb cake,early espresso. The stamp set is also retired it is called afterthoughts. If you haven't made one of these you should give it a try.

Happy 4th Of July!!

Here is just a little something I put together. I was thinking of a snow cone it looks so yummy.

I used Whisper White,Pacific Point,Real red cardstock. Pacific Point ink and Real red ink. I also used the dots embossing plate. Stamp Set Greenhouse garden scallop punch. All Stampin Up.

Just For You!

Here is a quick card. I used stampin up embossed framed tulips for the border. Cardstock is so saffron,whisper white. The scallop shapes and oval are nestabilities. The sentiment is from the hostess set Afterthoughts. Ink so saffron.

Butterfly Card

Hey everyone, I have another card for you. I did the back ground myself blending different colors together. Everything is Stampin Up except for the pink stones.

Cardstock Pink Pink Pirouette,Whisper White. Stamp used from strengh&hope set. Butterflies are stampin up embosslits dies.

I've made a couple of cards to share with you. They are both made from Stampin Up's Fabulous Florets stamp set. I did not put a sentiment in the inside since I'm not sure what I want to use them for yet. Hope you like them.

New Toy!!

I'm so excited about my new toy. I got the Husqvarna Viking Designer Ruby Embroidery Machine. I have been sewing for years but this embroidery stuff is all new for me. Man there's so much to learn,but I'm really having fun. Here is a picture of it along with a couple of things I've made. The first one is just regular embroidery next to it is what they call velvet it's very cool. The last picture is candlewicking sorry it's a little blurry.

Mother's Day Card

I used all Stampin Up products except for the butterflies they are MS.

Just wanted to wish all of the mom's out there a Happy Mother's Day. Hope you had a good one. I will post the card I made for my mom tomorrow.
